Positives:
The price was descent, there were tesla chargers, upon entering the lobby it looked beautiful with nice touches around (bar, fireplace lounge area, decorative canoes), the staff was respectful and nice, and the bed was very comfy.
Negatives:
The Tesla chargers were not powered on (no green light for the only 2 spots left), after telling the front desk, although nice, they said they didnt know how to fix it and they’d contact the manager “tomorrow” (Sunday), but we needed our car charged up for our convention first thing Sunday morning. I wish they had someone to call right then and there to get them powered on. A non electric car was parked in one of the charging spots, but the front desk agent said they’re elderly and will move it till the morning. We were leaving early in the morning so we needed to worry on our own how we’d get charged up before our convention. It was frustrating. The room we were assigned smelt like strong cigarettes. I was too tired to and didn’t think I’d really be helped by front desk, so I just slept with the windows open to air out the room.

Location was convenient for me. Quality of room was above average. Staff were polite and friendly.
I had a nice breakfast in the on site restaurant.
Negatives:
I don't like this trend of beds being so high off the floor you need a step ladder. I belatedly noticed a framed charcoal sketch of a boob on the wall next to my bed. Later learned that the art theme on the floor I was on was boobs. I did not find this appealing. An hour before checkout, I discovered the shower was not working. Nobody showed up to check it.
Front desk compensated me for having no shower by reversing the $40 parking fee.

Positives:
The room exceeded my expectations. If I needed something, I could call the front desk about it. I enjoyed the breakfast and the snacks on the patron floor. The beds and the bathroom were just right. I felt safe being in the building, because of the location in downtown Tacoma. The Bite restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed the staff making sure my stay was to my satisfaction.
Negatives:
I didn't like the parking fee of $26.00 a night.
