As soon as we arrived - after 12 hours on the road, we were advised that if my children ran down the halls then the manager would be called. This was the first thing the receptionist said to us!!! We had previously corrected our children however they had been in car for a long time and needed access to the pool to get their energy out. I advised the receptionist that we had just entered the facility and our children were just being kids and would not be disruptive. However I found this very rude and we really had no time to even try to cause a disturbance and we had only just arrived!!! We then attempted to access the pool area which had been taken over by another family - all towels were used all
Seating was used, pizza boxes and sodas lay everywhere and teenagers were monopolizing the pool doing backflips and scaring my 6yr old so he didn’t want to go in.
I do believe the receptionist had been dealing with problem behavior all day and potentially jumped at us as a response. However we would not stay here again - the other clientele appeared to be rowdy or multiple teenagers partying - felt more like a shelter than a hotel. Our room smelled heavily of dog and our greeting was punitive and condescending.
