I'm a senior, so I get cold easier than I used to, so the fact that I couldn't set the thermostat above 72° and the hot water got to lukewarm at best, made it rather diffucult to warm up on a cold fall day in Eastern WA.

We couldn’t even stay one night. Although we were charged for the first night due to ‘already checking in,’ the room was so filthy that we couldn’t bring ourselves to stay. There were spider webs in the room, the floor was peeling, and the ceiling looked like it had black mold from a leak. The front desk staff was incredibly rude, and the entire place was dirty and poorly maintained. We left immediately—would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked the location of the hotel (in the very center of the city). All shops are within walking distance. The room is spacious and comfortable. It is convenient that there are lamps with two switches on each table and bedside table. It is very convenient that there are two washbasins (in the shower and in the dressing room). A good dressing room where you can put suitcases and bags, in addition to clothes and shoes.
Negatives:
Our trip was business. We arrived to work. On the day of arrival, we finished work earlier than expected. We arrived tired (because we had been on our feet since 5:00 a.m.). It was 11:00 a.m. The reception staff told us that check-out at the hotel was at 11:00 a.m. and check-in was at 3:00 a.m. We were not even allowed to leave our bags. We sat in the car for 4 hours. We also ate in the car (we took food with us because we are on a healthy diet and do not eat in canteens). We were checked in at 3:00 a.m., and at 4:00 a.m. we went back to work (we did not rest at all). I think that the hotel should take into account the fact (when checking in) that people came to work, that after work they need to have a good rest, and not wait 4 hours.
The room has dirty curtains that haven't been washed for a long time! When you go out onto the balcony, it's really unpleasant to come into contact with them.

Clean. Good location, all the most central shops and mobile phone stores nearby. The room is spacious. It is very convenient that there are two washbasins (one in the shower, the other in the dressing room).
Negatives:
Very small refrigerator for three adults.
A very primitive coffee maker (the cheapest and most inconvenient) for one cup of coffee.

The convenient location
Our room was spacious, clean of course, but surprisingly extremely quiet. I expected some traffic noises being so close in town, yet there were none!
We even had a little balcony and a western view of the beautiful hills.
Just as the Red Lion Website stated that the hotel was “pet friendly” and they were true to their word when we checked in with our lil dog. We were greeted with a smile and friendliness by the front desk staff—with the best part being that we weren’t shuttled off to some awful “pet-friendly room”. We got the room we booked —plus it exceeded our expectations considering the great price we paid!
Also important to mention, that when I booked online, I had requested an extra blanket plus some extra coffee.— (Ny husband gets cold & I always drink more coffee) So waiting in our room was the extra coffee but also TWO blankets were there for us!
Thank you Red Lion. We will definitely stay there again.
