Overall, Staybridge Suites is a great brand and has fine facilities. However, room sizes have been shrinking with each stay -- LARGE comfortable room in Marquette, MI; moderate sized room in Fitchburg, WI; small room in Franklin, WI
Negatives:
I thought I had booked a room with two queen beds. It turned out to be one bed and one (maybe full size) sofa bed. Only one reception person on hand, so when she needed to deal with something else or run to the rest room, no one was available (when we arrived). Is there usually a back up person for reception?
One bracket of the shower rod was loose. Grab bar not visible while showering; only outside shower curtain on one side. Dirty cotton swab stuck to base in corner of bathroom when we arrived. Only grab rod in deep elevator was at the very back. A staff member didn't show up in the morning so another had to jump in and handle restocking the breakfast buffet.

Double bed instead of queen, 3 pillows instead of 4, the sheets looked like they’d been slept on, no silverware in the suite and when we asked for some the desk clerk could not access it, pool and hot tub down due to maintenance, room keys did not work at entrance/exits, even after we were given new ones, a round table in the suite with no chairs and no coffee table in front of the sofa, asked for a room away from busy traffic but didn’t get one, even though the hotel was nowhere near full. We will not stay at Staybridge again.
