The main areas of the hotel have been updated and look good, the room they assigned me to needs to be updated. The carpet squares are lifting around the edges and the tile areas needs a deep cleaning or replaced. The shower door also leaks onto the floor

We arrived a day later than expected and were told our reservation was cancelled. We had to pay anyway and that our room was no longer available. They then charged us again for the night we already for and more more for a lessor room. We were given no discount or refund, not even a room. Despite having paid for 2 nights in advance. Even if we were charged the one night we missed, I understand, but how do I have to pay twice when I;m here for the second night?
