Decent breakfast. Quiet hotel. Several food options closeby.
Negatives:
The toilet in our room (321) wobbled from side to side while sitting on it. It didn't seem to leak anywhere, but a wobbly toilet is a sign of poor construction. The toilet didn't even face completely forward.
Also, the freezer compartment in the mini fridge seriously needs defrosting. I could barely fit the cold pack from my small cooler in the freezer compartment because there was so much frost and ice.
I was mystified as to why the coffee area was on the other side of the lobby from the rest of the breakfast foods and drinks. It's in the far corner inconveniently located behind furniture. Not an intuitive location for a sleepy person looking for their morning caffeine.

Some maintenance attention is needed.
Positives:
The pool area's appearance was nice and the suite we were upgraded to had a convenient layout
Negatives:
Our first room had mold (you could smell it and see discoloration on the ceiling). We were moved to a second room which had rattling shower pipes. The pool must have been over-chlorinated because all three of us had issues with our skin, sinus, and eyes after swimming for an hour.

Bed was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The breakfast was probably the worst I have had at a hotel in recent years. All precanned nothing healthy. I'm guessing it is dictated by Wyndham so will just avoid AmericInn's in the future. The art in the public space and in the rooms was pretty creepy. I particularly though the stripes over Abe Lincoln's face to be a poor choice.
