room was next to highway, blow dryer was broken although the staff were responsive, did not refill conditioner despite request, bed felt small even though it was stated to be a queen, pool is small

The location is great, right in downtown Middleton. The breakfast is decent and the staff helpful.
Negatives:
They have a terrible selection of TV channels and the guide is difficult to use. No TCM, HBO, Showtime.

Hotel was modern and clean. Check-in went smoothly and they have complimentary heated underground parking. The selection of breakfast items was vast.
Negatives:
The breakfast items were all cold, no heat supplied to eggs, sausage (too hard to eat) or biscuits (the gravy was in a crockpot, which seemed odd for a hotel). I hope the amount and loudness of children was only due to spring break, but not certain.

Weve stayed here in the past, but I think the place is suffering from a lack of maintenance. Neither of the TV remotes worked, there were two hangers in the closet - no laundry bags. Also there seemed to be unfinished wiring and plastering projects.

We didnt stay at the hotel that was booked due to damage. The day before we were notified that they moved our reservation to a different property. The property we were moved to was outdated and not anything similar to what we booked initially.

Positives:
Location was great. Went to American Players, nice to have the drive back to the hotel be shorter, but still accessible to Madison proper. Clean, nice breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Parking can be a challenge. They do have an underground place to park as well.

Nothing. Before we even got to Madison the hotel called us to say we could not have our room because some rooms in the hotel had incurred water damage. They arranged a room for us in another hotel three miles away even though we had booked this hotel to be with/near other family members months previously. The other hotel was less expensive. We are expecting a refund of at least the difference in rates, and would like it to be even more because the other hotel was not only inconvenient, it was also not adequately cleaned and, the second night and morning of our stay there was no hot water. This was possibly the worst hotel experience of our lives.

See above. Also, our son was not directly informed by hotel staff that his room reservation was also not being honored and they only learned about the change after he was already driving, from 200+ miles away to get to the hotel. Hotel staff told him, after he called them himself, that they had expected me to tell my son what had occurred. He is an adult and your hotel should have had the courtesy to tell him personally. In his room at the alternate hotel he and his wife found excrement on the walls in the bathroom. They also found hair ( not their own) left on the floor of the room and so, were not willing to let their 10-month old play on the floor of their hotel room. I think you owe both me and my son substantial refunds of at least half the total you have already collected or more.

Worst hotel experience ever.
Positives:
Like all Staybridge hotels, it was clean with wonderful amenities. We were there for Ironman Wisconsin in Madison, and we couldn't have asked for a better space. Kids loved the pool and breakfast, and we loved the 24-hour hot tub and sauna.
Negatives:
We left floaties and life jackets outside our door while drying our kids from the pool. They were taken by staff and put in the dumpster, found only a few days later because we kept pestering.

Can not think of anything I didn't like.
