The staff were amazingly helpful! The nighttime manager, Tiffany(?) and daytime manager, Merce, were both professional, courteous, kind, and very helpful to an amazing degree. Tiffany bent over backwards to ensure that my medical syringes were safely refrigerated and my gel packs (to keep my syringes chilled during traveling) were frozen. Tiffany was effusively welcoming. When I inquired about the coffee near the reception running out, Merce personally checked on it, and carried the freshly made coffee over himself from the kitchen. Merce made me feel very well cared for, and he was particularly professional and punctiliously smart, much like the excellent reception I receive when I stay at a posh hotel like the Ritz Carleton or Waldorf Astoria. The breakfast was very good, with fresh, thankfully not overcooked eggs served daily. The dark roast coffee was very good. The beds were very comfortable (and I have a bad back). The rooms were very quiet. My hotel room was sparkling clean. This was one of the best Hampton Inns that I have lodged at in several important ways.

At a window area in the breakfast room, guests had spilled food and a trail of ants were in evidence.

The breakfast was nice. The location was convenient to the East Side plus north suburbs. The afternoon young woman at the front desk was very helpful.
Negatives:
The tablets and printer were not working so we could not print boardings passes for our flight home. Rather inconvenient.

Breakfast was fine. Noise in evening and overnight was not a problem- except for loud people sitting outside on a patio below talking until 11 oclock
Negatives:
Bed was at a height for a 64 tall person -/ so made it a challenge to safely get in and out/ up to the mattress and then safely down to the floor for the 50 person. Also-very high shower had no hand-held spray option nor safety bars for older people.

Rooms were comfortable, the staff was excellent. Our first night our neighbors were very noisy but the night manager was excellent and handled the noise and addressed the issue. The coffee was good in the mornings

Rooms could be cleaner. Found a lot of soap scum/mold in the shower. The breakfast was not replenished enough and most of the food was gone quickly and not restocked

We stayed 4 nights asked for our room to be refreshed after day two and this never happened. We had to get towels and all supplies from the front desk. Not pleased as the room was expensive and no offer to refund a partial part given lack of staff.

I liked the room and the location. The style of the property was up-to-date.
Negatives:
The desk was poorly staffed. Often there was no one there and just a phone number was left. When I called the number, several times, no one answered. And I did not appreciate the 'incidentals' fee when there was nothing incidental to charge. I did appreciate it being removed shortly after check out.
