Felt very unsafe there. Doors didn't close securely, everything smelled like smoke, beds weren't made or clean. Some of the windows were broken and boarded up. Smoke detector was ripped out of ceiling. It was so shady and scary there.

For starters, they misplaced my reservation. My room had not been touched at all since the last guest left on Friday morning, the day.before I arrived. Staff gave me towels and sheets and I made the bed at 7:45pm after they left. I ended up making my bed both days. The heap of linens from the previous guest was still outside my door the morning I left. No soap, shampoo in the bathroom. The place did no hide its age well. Was glad to be getting back home.

It was dirty. Most of the rooms are rented permanently to scary people. People doing drugs and milling around in front of the motel. Was given 10 minutes from time I was signing in to change my mind on the room. It took the desk 10 minutes to sign me in so I could not cancel and get a refund.

While my stay. There was a guy in room 401 that has been locking women in his cash room. While I was outside one night I saw this same guy talking loud and saying unspeakable things towards the women outside. Then when one.if the women had enough and got loud back with him, he proceeded to hit her, closed fist 3 times in the face. I was appalled and devastated. This women's husband came to defend her although there was a total of 8 guys gathered around the slum that hits women and the women. None of them came to he rescue, keep him from assaulting her, or even make an comment for him to stop. I would never of thought to witness such awful atmosphere. Although chatting with some of the people that stay more than the weekend say that this happens on a daily basis. Then to find out before I left the next day the women and husband were kicked off the property and the guy still resides in 401. And now I know that he has even physically fought the staff working there and knights inn has called the cops on him a handful of times. This is not right!! Knights Inn, you need to make this right. I have NO problem reporting to anyone that you are keeping a guy in a guy room after he has sexual assaulted 4 women and put his hands in another in public. Shame on you, owner Shemur. You are not fit to own a business

Staff was rude. This girl behind the counter Chelsea, tried to over charge what I reserved the room for online. The place has bed bugs. Carpet makes you feet black walking in it. Burn holes in all the blankets. Sad place to stay. I would rather sleep outside.

It had a roof 4 walls and a door. Not much else .
Negatives:
Cockroaches , Cigarette butt in toilet of non smoking room. Paid for room but had to wait 2 and half hours to get the key. Couldn't get toilet paper for a day and half was given tissues. Other Guests set off fireworks everyday there including in the parking lot right outside the door. The room was not as described and the checkout was not the same as listed. Had kids on multiple nights knock into my door. Had to find the maid staff to finally get toilet paper. Staff never contacted me after Booking.com emailed them . Wifi was spotty . No coffee maker while everything else for coffee available.
