When making the booking I included as a request that we were bringing our dog as the booking process offered nowhere else to indicate this. I received a reply saying the hotel had been contacted and the request could be accommodated at no additional charge. There was no mention of any fee in any of the information I received. When we arrived I was told there would be a thirty dollar fee. I explained the interactions I had when booking, but was met with repetition of "we charge a thirty dollar fee". The clerk then showed me some near microscopic print on the paper he had me sign when checking in indicating the fee. This was not mentioned anywhere else in the booking process. The only reference to animals was the "pet friendly" notice and a statement that they only accept dogs and not cats.
Also, the hotel was advertised as having a hot tub, but it was out of order.
Very frustrating.

The rooms are nice. Stayed there 2 times. First time my bed seemed clean but the bathtub didn't look clean and there was hair all over the floor. The hot tub was out of order but the pool was very warm.
Negatives:
Gave them a second chance because I enjoyed the warm pool. This time(two weeks later) the pool room and pool were cold. I was very disappointed. Hot tub still down. Ate breakfast next door at Denny's because the breakfast at the hotel is not good. The floor was clean this stay but the bed was questionable.
