The breakfast was fine, good coffee and very clean dining room
We stayed there for location and the shuttle to the ballpark.
The staff we encountered were personable and helpful.
Negatives:
There were not many choices for dinner within walking distance and the in house restaurant didn’t serve what was on the QR code (for menu) on the big floor poster in the lobby. The server was very nice and apologetic.
The shower in our room was hard to adjust for the right temperature and seemed to maybe have a slight leak at the floor level. Otherwise, the room was fine, even if on the 2nd floor above the lobby entrance.

our Room was not cleaned/serviced on day. We thus needed to ask for fresh towels. The front desk rep seemed annoyed when we double checked that our room would be cleaned the following day. The shower leaked and the sink faucet leaked.

I left my trash outside the door for housekeeping to empty. They emptied it but left it without a bag afterwards.

The location was good for what we had planned to do. The shuttle to the ballgame was perfect. The breakfast was good.

They charged me more than what my booking stated and when I asked about it the guy at the desk was rude and didn't want to discuss it with me. He just said it's Booking .com that you need to contact. He claimed they had nothing to do with the price that booking.com had already paid for it and to call them. So I called booking.com and talked to someone that said this was not true that they did not pay for it. My account had a pending amount from the Hampton Inn. The transaction just cleared my account so I will be trying to get the difference refunded to me. I shouldn't have to spend my time dealing with this.

The location/neighborhood was great - easy to find with free parking . Check in was easy and the overall appearance was very nice. Breakfast options included everything we could want.
Negatives:
The bed needs an upgrade or replacement. The carpets and upholstery can use a really good cleaning. The stains on the couches in the breakfast room were rather scary.
