The cleanliness of the facilities and most of the staff, the only people who seemed unhappy was the front desk staff. Whenever we interacted with them they seemed like we were bothering them. I realize I should have put this in the second question. Sorry it just came out.

On a positive note, the water park, both inside and outside, was pretty fun. The staff were polite and nice, which made the experience more enjoyable.
Overall, my stay at this hotel in Chula Vista had its ups and downs, and I hope they make improvements in the future.
Negatives:
recently stayed at a hotel in Chula Vista, Wisconsin, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The room was very tiny, making it difficult to move around comfortably. The fridge provided was also very small, which was inconvenient for storing food and drinks.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. The countertop was dirty, and the bathroom was not well-maintained. This was quite disappointing and did not meet my expectations for a pleasant stay.
Moreover, the room lacked essential equipment for cooking dinner or lunch, which was a significant inconvenience. It would have been helpful to have some basic kitchen amenities available.
Overall, my stay at this hotel in Chula Vista was not up to par, and I hope they make improvements in the future.

This is a small resort focusing on younger children (2-12) the pools are super small. We had older kiddos and we all felt that it was geared for the younger kids. This is not a bad thing-we just thought it would be different.

I wanted to share my disappointment with my recent stay at Chula Vista. It had been 20 years since my last visit, and I was looking forward to seeing how the property had evolved. Unfortunately, I was met with a facility that appeared untouched by time.
There have been no visible updates to the property, which was quite disappointing. The furniture in my room was mismatched and looked old, adding to the overall sense of neglect. I had expected more from a place with such a storied reputation, but it seems the years have taken their toll without any efforts to refresh or modernize the surroundings.
I hope that Chula Vista will consider making the necessary updates to restore the charm and comfort that I once enjoyed.

Mold in toilet, water up to ankles when showering, dishwasher broke, tried to scam me out of $200 at check in, mold in water park, arcade is a rip off, asked for garbage to be picked up and new towels and the employee brought a bag of towels and basically threw it in the room and left

The room and space was very nice. It was hard to get a hold of anyone at the front desk. Staff at the water park was always on their phones except the life guards, they did a great job.
Negatives:
Our room was not very clean, the floors were very dirty. My white socks and my sons feet [after his shower] were black, there were cobwebs trhroughout, mold in the master bath shower, the freezer leaks into the top shelf of the fridge, the faucets need to be replaced as the handles go very far back and we almost couldn't turn the kitchen faucet off. There was no kitchen wash clothes, only 2 kitchen towels, no spatula in the kitchen for turning food in a pan. There was hardly any silverware, no cleaning products to clean with, all the lights were dirty and the carpets had a lot of stains, bathroom ceiling vents were covered in dust as well, kitchen cabinets need to be wiped down and there was food spater on the wall and outlet, pet hair on the stove,The whole unit needs a spring cleaning. We paid a lot of money for 1 night.
