The pet fee is $15/night per pet. If both pets are under 20 lbs. each, they count as 1 pet and only the $15/night fee will apply. Certified service animals are no charge. All sizes and breeds of dog are welcome. All domestic pets are welcome, such as cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and parrots. Coppertoppe guests receive a 10% discount on pet training at White Mountain College for Pets (Advance registration required). Dog nutrition/cooking classes are available for $25 per person with advance notice.

About This Property

Pet-friendly bed and breakfast that treats pets as honored guests.They provide dog beds, dishes, towels, toys and treats (they cook for dogs)! Coppertoppe is located on 15 acres on a ridge of Tenney Mountain overlooking Newfound Lake in central New Hampshire. They are surrounded by conservation land, near Audubon preserves and state parks. All rooms/suites have private bathrooms, stunning lake views, king beds, fridges, TV/DVD, towel warmers and many amenities. AAA 3-star and TripAdvisor 5-star service, with full breakfast and dishes for any special diets or preferences. Children are also welcome and pampered. Coppertoppe hosts functions, retreats and weddings (yes your dog can be your Best at your wedding), with event/wedding planning services and JP on-site. They are leaders in the sustainable lodging movement and use local, organic, sustainable products as much as possible, and herbs from our own organic gardens. You and your pets are safe playing on their grass and jumping in their pond. Newfound Lake is known as the cleanest lake in the world and there are many outdoor activities available in all seasons. Local concerts, festivals, museums, theaters, arts/crafts workshops, tax-free shopping at outlets or local shops are nearby. Coppertoppe is partnered with White Mountain College for Pets/Ebony Kennel so Coppertoppe guests get significant discounts on training. They cook for dogs as well as people and offer cooking and gardening classes for $25 per person (you eat what you cook). Romance package upgrades, massages, birthday or anniversary surprises are available. Ask about options and prices. Almost anything is possible with advance notice. Ask Sheila about specials, weddings and group bookings. Information about COVID-19: To former and future guests: Coppertoppe was already considered one of the cleanest places to stay. Now they do more frequent sanitizing of surfaces in common areas with non-toxic products. They even have PPE travel kits guests can buy. Personal masks and gloves are available for guests. They diligently follow the guidelines to keep everyone safe and will continue learning new methods and materials. Coppertoppe is a bed and breakfast. There is little outside traffic. Guests are routinely pre-registered and checked in online. Full breakfast is available by pre-ordering before arrival (tell us what you like). Guests may dine in the safe-spaced dining room or in their rooms. Pre-ordered snacks and beverages will be provided in guest rooms. The kitchen staff follows ServSafe national food safety and hygiene standards. Guests from outside New Hampshire will be asked to sign a statement that they have been following COVID-19 safety recommendations. Coppertoppe accepts no liability for guest behavior. They trust their guests to be respectful.

Pet amenities include dog beds, dishes, towels, toys and homemadetreats! They pet-sit when guests go out to dinner or to a human event. They offer maps and advice about local and regional hiking trails and nature areas. They collaborate with local dog trainers, kennels, and know the pet supply store and veterinarians.
