Wake Forest, NC - November 19, 2019 - TripsWithPets, the premier online pet travel guide, is hosting Jingle Paws to Benefit K9s For Warriors as part of our 3rd Annual Partners for Animal Welfare Series (PAWS 3).
This dog friendly fundraising event takes place on December 8, 2019, from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at Big Boss Brewing Co. in Raleigh, NC. A silent auction and raffle will be held which will feature over 10 pet friendly trips, as well as many other high-value prizes. 100% of the proceeds raised at the event, including Big Boss Brewing Co.'s donation of 10% of the event's beverage receipts, go directly to benefit K9s For Warriors.
K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of service dogs for disabled military warriors. Some of the warriors are veterans, some are active duty, and all are heroes who have served in the military. The warriors all suffer from PTSD or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Roughly 90% of the service dogs come from shelters or are owner-surrendered. Instead of a life of abandonment or euthanasia, they are given a new purpose. With each graduate pair, two lives are saved.
K9s For Warriors rescues the dog, and the dog rescues the warrior. “We are passionate about animal welfare and continually look for opportunities to help pet-centered charities." said Kim Salerno, CEO and Founder of TripsWithPets.
