I booked for nine nights and was given a room on the 3d floor looking at the back, at the walls of the opposite building (2 meters away) . I asked for an upgrade immediately but I was ignored. The room was too small for us . Not enough space to open our luggage. Breakfast was ok but the variation of food limited . The dining area was too small . On the street next to the main entrance people were injecting drugs on each other.

I have Mixed feelings with the over all hotel, facilities and breakfast. The hotel it self is ok, the breakfast wasn’t good, but at least was generous. They allowed you to take some food and that was great. But I think for the same price I could have got a 4 stars…

Great hotel. lovely and friendly staff. The hotel has all amenities and most are free for guests to use. Breakfast is ok. nothing special.

Unfortunately, NYC has changed lately and walking down west 37 St. isn't too pleasant, especially with kids. The neighborhood isn't too friendly and many homeless people settled just around the hotel pathway. The hotel location is busy and noisy.
