Excellent choice for a Vancouver...

This was fantastic and the first Fairmont hotel we had stayed at! The service, decor, room, facilities and amenities were impeccable, couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was personalised and the in room dining was one of the best I’ve experienced! Fully worth the price and the bed/pillows were super comfy. Location was excellent, super central. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room were excellent. Would visit again as this is one of my favourites!

When we finally got the room we paid for the view was amazing.
Negatives:
They originally gave us a room with no view. I paid a lot of money for a room with a view that at least somewhat matches the selling add they used. After many hours we finally got a room but it took a lot of complaining to get it.
They tried telling me only "gold" members get that view.. Well they are advertising that room with that view so it's basically false advertisement at this point.
2 times during our 1 night day we had employees of that hotel just give a slight knock and walk in on us.. WALK IN ON US.. it's hard to put into words how that made my wife and I feel.
