Positives:
Good location, easy walking distance to Robson St restaurants and shops. Concierge was very helpful with sightseeing recommendations. Rooms were small but beautifully attired and clean. Bathroom floor heating was a nice touch. 24 hour reception was also a plus.

Lovely stay for our first...
Positives:
The facilities were good but they should have been for a 5* hotel. We had no issues with the actual room itself. The big advantage with the Paradox is its location that allows an easy walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants.
Negatives:
Expensive for what you get??? ($700+ a night for 2 x free tins of water plus buttons to open your blinds and drapes is a bit much) no chilled mini bar and the Rose' wine on offer (at $30 a bottle) was the worst I have ever tasted. Reception staff and Chamber Maids were very good but no porter offered to help with our bags either on arrival or departure. Entrance is in a back street so confused our Taxi driver.

Stunning hotel, staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was stunning, fabulous views, attention to detail was superb. Close to Stanley Park. We were also able to rent bikes to cycle on for 2 hours complimentary.

Positives:
We, an old couple, arrived at the hotel at around 7:30 a.m. and tried to have an early check-in because the plane from Sydney landed at 6 a.m. We felt very tired at that time. The front desk understood our situation and showed us they would try to do their best to check us into a room. We got the key at 10:30 a.m. We appreciate it.

The mattress is a little bit too soft for us.
