I had an appointment in the morning. I originally booked to stay here because of the location to my afternoon appointment and the rating online.
I was met with so many disappointments that I eventually asked for a refund on my stay.
Instead of being met with compassion and understanding, I was met with very insensitive treatment from the manager. Telling me the only way to get a refund is to rebook at this unpleasant hotel again or contact my third party booking (booking.com) to receive a refund.
Of course no surprise there, booking.com told me that in order to get a refund the hotel must send them the agreement to refund the money. Below is the list of incidences I experienced in my first and LAST stay with them...
If I was granted a full refund and compassion I would have ignored this nights stay, but they were very uncaring about my stay, and maybe to do with the fact that I am a single woman. I have not let this incident go, simply because I believe that right is right and wrong is wrong! And everyone should deserve to be treated with respect.

I am a guest staying at your Oshawa Location.
I was checked in by Nital just after 8pm Mon July 1st, 2024.
We are staying on the first floor Room 110
- The whole room reeks of cigarettes
- I first spoke to the front desk because the TV doesn't work
- The controller was missing batteries
-The phone in the room doesn't work to call to the front desk, so I had to go back and forth
- Then the batteries we put in the controller didn't work, So I had to go back, then when the controller worked the cable is not working, and no channels were available it's saying the cable is disconnected
- Then I tried to take a shower, there was a dead fly I had to wash down the tub
- And when I tried to take a shower the whole thing filled with water- I was absolutely disgusted
Your rating was quite high when I was looking for a place to stay, so I was very disappointed with everything.
