Positives:
Breakfast was standard, but tasty. Loved having actual bacon when possible. Popular hotel, so food would run out fast. The staff made note of this when checking in so the heads up was appreciated. Staff was accommodating and helpful when I needed to print something and their free guest terminal was not working. Location is spectacular. Right by two metro lines so it's very easy to get around and not to mention, you're by the old town and old port of montreal. Very comfortable beds!
Negatives:
House keeping left a LOT to be desired. Staff did not speak English very well. Rooms were not cleaned daily or often. It was a hassle to get good service. Bed sheets for the bed were one size too small, so the fitted sheet would always come undone. Frustrating, but not a deal breaker. Hotel seemed to have two different restaurants attached, which I found peculiar. One on the sixth floor, one on the bottom floor. This added to foot traffic in the area and made parking harder. Parking is a public parking area, but guests at the hotel have a discount of $5 off the normal rate, which I still find to be grossly overpriced considering that anyone can park there and hotel guests may not have access to parking on highest visitation dates.

The location.. the Staff.. the Facility & Hotel room were all very nice!
Negatives:
The air conditioning!!! The rooms & Lobby were very very well air conditioned! ...But the Parking Garage was not AT ALL!! It honestly, no exaggerating, felt like a Sauna in the Parking Garage! It was almost unreal.. & we also noticed the Hotel hallways aren't as well air conditioned as the rooms & Lobby were... the hallways are nothing like the Parking Garage, but you can definitely feel the difference as soon as you step out of your room. & that's why i only rated it a 7 as opposed to a 8 or 9!
Honestly that Parking Garage feeling like a Sauna is beyond wild! & they really need to do something about that!

The hallways were musty and hot and the room similarly smelled, air conditioning had to be pretty cold to even erase it. my husband thinks some sewage must be backing up. we moved to another place instead of signing up another two nights.

The area is very loud(autoroute ville-marie) and there was a terrasse bar 2 floors underneath, the music was also loud. The pool and especially the spa didn't have clean water.
