Positives:
The Mexican-inspired rooms and grounds are perfect for a Tucson stay. The landscaping is pleasant with meandering paths through many varieties of cacti. It's right in the middle of town and wonderful restaurants, yet because of high walls around the grounds, it feels like you are further out in the desert. Our simple king room was very roomy; it had a comfy swivel chair and one at a desk. The towels were thick and fluffy and the bed incredibly comfortable. I loved the Mexican-inspired ambiance.
Negatives:
Wifi was iffy during our stay, and for me, at 5-foot tall, the sink (a beautiful copper basin surrounded by Mexican tiles) was too high.

There's a really wide range of rooms, all for the same price. The room we were in was a tub with scalding water. We've stayed many many times; this was the only disappointment. Breakfast included means only the buffet, not the less expensive "have them make eggs for you" option. Weird.
