Great ocean views from all over the resort. Fun pool scene. Great venue The Treehouse. They set us up with chairs and towels for the beach.
Negatives:
Bed linens were worn out a bit. Some crazy pricing at the gift store. Not a fan of the guests who bring their pets. Food at Lorea was just average.

Positives:
Location could not be beat, easy walk to the Huntington Beach Pier and a ton of great restaurants. Pool area was fantastic, and the beach is an easy walk across the street. You can check out chairs and an umbrella from the front desk and they were excellent quality, very comfortable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Negatives:
A pipe broke that caused the water to be shut off for most of the afternoon, which was quite annoying but not really the hotel's fault. The onsite restaurant was not very good, and VERY expensive. Thankfully, there are much better options a short walk away. Service at the rooftop bar left a lot to be desired as well.

The rooms were FILTHY!!! See pictures. Holes in furniture, sticky hairy baseboards, scuffs and holes in walls, stained carpets, pee puddles running down walls. For paying $700 a night I expected a clean room. We had to switch from our first due to the room being gross, the next wasn't much better and their response was that they didn't have anything else unless I wanted to pay for an upgrade. Ridiculous. No offer to have a manager come look, no concern for the rooms being in dissaray. How embarrassing to be ok with your rooms looking the way they do

I didn’t like the fact that it was only valet parking and that I was charge a lot for one night.
