Very good
Positives:
Very friendly and engaging staff.
The Teachers Lounge had fantastic cocktails, and the breakfast was great!
The room was perfect, and the shower was wonderful!

Positives:
Clean place, very friendly staff. Great location and on the cheaper side that close to downtown. Overall a very pleasant experience; we would definitely stay there again.
Negatives:
The room we were in was probably the smallest I've ever stayed in. Also, weirdly, you cannot get free coffee in the lobby. You have to pay like $4 for the same coffee you could have brewed in your room from the restaurant.
Not sure if the restaurant review should be included, but service was also very slow (inexperienced on all fronts; I don't think it was being intentionally inattentive) at the restaurant and they had a waitress without bar experience bartending so she wasn't a huge help recommending things when they also didn't stock the alcohol to make my very basic go-to drink or back-up go-to (did not have Chambord, Coconut Rum, or Pineapple juice - I'm not asking for anything off-the-wall).

Overall very good experience, just...
Negatives:
There was a problem getting the folio recipe afterwards, don’t know if this was a booking or Hilton problem. Time me a few phone calls to get it.
Also receiving the Hilton honor points was not possible.

Positives:
Lovely hotel, lovely room, very comfortable beds, great shower and bathing products, pleasant and helpful staff.
Negatives:
Very expensive when about 4 different taxes are added.
Also had major problems in restaurant at dinner - waited 1.5 hours for food and then it was cold, did get a free drink and some money off.

Very good
Positives:
Really enjoyed the "school" themed decor - the "library card catalogue" fronted check in desk brought me joy; the stairwells were totally on point re: 1970's memories.
Negatives:
1. First floor bedrooms basically don't have a window (lobby is 2d floor; ask for a bedroom on the 3rd floor if you value daylight).
2. We could amp up the a/c all we wanted but we could not lower the room temp (per thermometer) to below 70 degrees. I basically did not sleep well - the comforter was too heavy (and we checked in so late that I did not do my due diligence, so thought I did not have something so simple as JUST a bed sheet). It turns out that was an asset that I did have at my disposal; I just did not know it. Bottom line: I sweated through a late September night and did.not.sleep.well. We could not make that swear word thermometer lower the temperature into my sleeping comfort zone. That, plus the relative lack of a window makes me think I am not a "Tapestry" customer moving forward. Great decor, overall, but ... I think the a/c unit must have been situated poorly.
3. We checked in to this hotel all very travel weary. After we settled into our room, we went to the in-hotel restaurant for dinner. We stood, and waited, stood and waited, at the hostess station where the placard read "please wait to be seated." And we waited. And we waited. And we watched employee bodies bustle vigorously. Finally we walked two plus blocks to a very generic, not great food, sports bars near the convention center that we circled, and each chose a very ordinary dinner. Neither of our meals were particularly great. But, as we joked, they had a swear word hostess at work.

Very nice, clean and modern hotel. The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel was in walking distance to lots of restaurants and attractions.
Negatives:
I was disappointed there was no pool, but not enough to not stay here again.
