I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando Lake Mary and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. As a guest in Room 527 attending the ECNL Soccer Showcase, I needed to upload game recordings using Trace equipment, which requires a wired internet connection. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed me that the hotel operates solely on a wireless network and does not provide Ethernet ports or modems, a change implemented during the 2017 remodel.
Despite my 30 years of experience in technology and having received such assistance at other La Quinta locations, I was unable to obtain the necessary support here. Attempts to contact the manager were unsuccessful, and I had to seek assistance from a nearby Hilton hotel to complete my uploads. The following day, the manager responded, apologizing for the inconvenience and mentioning a review for possible compensation.
This experience was frustrating, especially given the time-sensitive nature of my work. The lack of support and unresponsiveness from the entire team was unacceptable. It’s evident that the staff at this location would greatly benefit from comprehensive customer service training to better assist guests with specific needs. Due to this negative experience, I will not be using this hotel for any future visits to Lake Mary.
For travelers seeking accommodations in Lake Mary with reliable internet access and superior customer service, I recommend considering the following Hilton hotels:

Breakfast/Check in area was a combined chaotic cluster. Same, add water eggs and sausage served daily when you can actually get to it. Never any seating available to actually eat. Facilities need major repairs. Peel and stick vinyl (refresher) peeling off everything. Beds very old and uncomfortable. Left a day early.
