Negatives: coffe break

Negatives: Too far and filthy walk to the convention center which is less appealing than other hotels. The room I paid for supposed to have a sofa bed but we were given just a chair instead. I requested microwave and ref but has to reorder as those are not in the room. The toilet bowl was clogged. I received an e-mail to upgrade for a King Suite for an extra $18/night and I confirmed only to be told that it’s not possible when we arrives.

Negatives: Room smells like mildew carpet, hallway carpet is dirty, door are chipped paint. I stayed here 2 years ago that’s why I chose to stay this year but hotel has went down tremendously.

Negatives: It would be amazing if you offered Cruise shuttles to the port and parking , I'd willingly pay for parking for the week if you offered a shuttle to the port in the morning !!!

Negatives: Eat at the hotel was expensive and the restaurant only have 2 server, they said they were short of people that day. I was there attending a conference and they AC was dramatic cold! 67F ? really, is it Miami ... I feel sick for 4 days, freezing cold wearing jacket (blazer) and pants (in Miami) .... insane .... and the coffee was horrible, so toasted and re-heated . They charge the parking even for guess, when I check the hotel say they offer the parking service, and when I arrived surprised surprise Extra $10 per day o $15 with valet parking .... not nice. I have my Hilton Honors membership, but the price in booking was better than the hotel website, so no points for me, not refundable, no breakfast included

Negatives: The hotel changed our reservation without saying anything, so they almost couldn't find my reservation upon arrival. We had to change rooms because the first room wasn't working. The room we got in the end didn't have any appliances. The hotel staff at the front desk aren't helpful at all. The hotel charged us for three different deposits that we weren't informed they were going to charge us, neither by booking nor by the hotel. When we tried to get help from the hotel and booking, neither company was willing to take a look at our case and help us. The rooms are very outdated, and in general, the hotel installations are old. We had to ask several times at the cleaning staff for towels. When we tried to ask the staff at the front desk for indications of nearby stores or restaurants, they told us there was nothing to do around the hotel, in a very bad attitude. To take into account: the rooms have TERRIBLE lighting. If you need to work on the desk in a room, you won't be able to do so on a cloudy day or after sunset hours. This is very important because we were on a business trip and because of this getting work done was very difficult. When we told the hotel staff, they said there was nothing they could do to help. And the wifi isn't really free. They say they have free wifi, but in reality, it is only free if you are a Hilton Honors member. If you are not a member and are not willing to become one, then the "free wifi" is so terrible it won't work correctly for business purposes. The other option is that you dont become a Hilton Honors member, and you pat 5 dollars a day to get a good quality wifi. If you need to assist a convention at the MACC, reach out at the other hotels in the area, they are really close and for sure have better amenities and rooms to offer, at a better price.
