Positives:
Breakfast and Iris who maintains the buffet and keeps everything replenished is an outstanding employee. Always gracious, even to the people who abuse the buffet, walking out with huge amounts of plated food.
Negatives:
Up until 5 years ago, we stayed in this hotel frequently, the last visit being for 1 month from late Dec 2018 to the end of January 2019. It was very well kept. Now, we found the place to be “ rode hard and put up wet” like an uncared for horse. It all smacks of a change of ownership to an owner who is milking the place. Furniture finish is flaking, the physical maintenance looks like it was done by unskilled laborers, the drapes were torn at the bottom, etc. It also appears that there are homeless people being sheltered here. They eat breakfast and then carry enough plated food away to feed themselves (and others?) for the rest of the day. It makes it difficult for Iris to keep the buffet well stocked.

Positives:
the bed was comfortable and linens clean. the bathroom was clean.
Negatives:
the room was very dirty meaning the rug, the furniture scratched up and mold filled. If you opened a drawer or closett doors the smell of mold was very heavy. as soon as you opened the door there was a pungant odor. the curtains were torn and hanging on the floor. There was no desk or desk chair. roaches in the bathroom. It looked nothing like the photos avertized. only bathroom outside of your room was at the pool outside and across the street and it was dirty. I could not eat the breakfast which consisted of scrambled powered eggs, link sausages, and tortillas. and a waffle maker. I want my money back.
