We weren’t told about the security deposit until we checked in seeing how booking.com on displayed the price of the rooms with taxes and neither of the two reps I spoke with over the phone about pricing mentioned it either. So adding another $100 to the bill before checking was very lack luster. We’ve stayed at many hotels as well as resorts and have never experienced this.
