Positives:
The Good - The Beach was a short walk over the boardwalk away, and was beautiful for sunrise walks in the surf. The breakfast was good, about average for included breakfasts. The setting was beautiful with the live oaks and Spanish moss all around. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
Negatives:
The hotel was having water pressure issues when we arrived, so they moved us down a floor, which put us in a room that was over the boiler room (translation HOT, took quite a while for the AC to get it comfortable and dehumidified), and had loose / broken tiles in the bathroom in front of the shower. Not what I expect from a Hampton Inn.

I enjoy the boardwalk through the trees and dunes. That was quite lovely
Negatives:
The outside area closes at 10:00 p.m. so does the pools and hot tub. And on our last day there are husband and an issue with the front desk person being quite rude and ignoring him when he was trying to check out of our room. And the bar was closed early everyday so I never got to use it.

Crowded. Ice Machines didn't work on Floors 1,2,3, ☹️, 2 bfast workers on Saturday had poor attitudes even when I tried to compliment their Diligence or thank them for working hard; no bacon or danish or cinnamon rolls at bfast any of our 3 mornings, tv channels limited, wifi weak.

My dog and I were in the large king suite. Bed, shower, and room size were better than expected. The property has it's own boardwalk to the beach. This was the best part, especially for night time walks on the beach.
