Positives:
The property was very clean with a welcoming and helpful staff. We traveled in for Lollapalooza and expected it to be a little loud but there was blissful quiet and comfortable beds. We got a nice view and had a very good breakfast.
We got into the city early and rooms weren’t ready, but we were able to store our bags at the hotel and explore the city. They called us as soon as a room was available. Also they offered guests who were needing to change outfits a clean restroom to change before they stored their bags.

Quiet, comfortable stay during Lollapalooza
Positives:
The hotel is located in a nice old-fashioned building. The neighbourhood seemed safe, and was relatively quiet: the L was one block away. Air conditioning was good, and at the same time a window could be opened, which helped us get some fresh air. Breakfast was pretty decent. Everything was within walking distance, which is super helpful for short stays in Chicago.
Negatives:
The only minor issue with a room is the shower: there is no door, and water keeps splashing and spilling on the floor. Also, two out of three days, there was no pastry at the breakfast: our toddler was a little bit disapponted.
