Positives: Incredibly comfortable bed and linens. Great location.

Positives: The hotel is extremely well located. Close to Chicago's main tourist attractions. It is located on a street with several shopping options and in front of a shopping center that gives access to Pedway (very important during the harsh winter period). The hotel is also next to the metro station. The hotel restaurant is very good and cozy.
Negatives: The room is small and the double bed is not comfortable and too small for a couple. Despite being a room with two (small) double beds, it can accommodate only two people reasonably comfortably.
Review
Very well located but with small, non-conformable beds for a couple.

Negatives: No real lobby!

Enjoyed being on the 11th floor and watching Macys Christmas decorations go up!

Positives: The location was conveniently in range of a lot of nice restaurants, and the view was nice, overlooking the Chicago theater district. The bed was comfy, but the wooden bedframe, we discovered, was badly warped, there were bare nails on the underside of one side.
Negatives: We stayed for 6 nights and did not receive housekeeping once, even with multiple requests. We did receive fresh towels, but the old towels weren't taken away, trash was never removed, sheets weren't replaced, we'd come back at the end of the day with nothing changed. It was very disappointing. You can also get a sense of the poor cleanliness when you enter the main entrance, adjacent to the Atwood restaurant. The small lobby area was filthy, with persistent food debris and dust as if it had never been wiped down or cleaned. Lighting was also quite poor - just three small lamps with bright, blue LEDs which gave it a cold and uninviting feel when we came back at night. With these conditions, I felt our stay was overpriced, even for the area.

Overpriced, poor cleaniness, uninviting, no housekeeping received, but good location downtown.

Positives: Room was wonderful and comfortable although a bit small. View was really great.
Negatives: Continuous noise from heat staying on, though it did a good job of keep street noice down a lot. I felt the cost a was too high.. did not know there was no microwave in the rooms so couldnt heat up food. Really dont like paying an extra $20 for resort fee per day for a couple bottles of water and a couple coffee pods. Rooms are already so expensive.
