Hyatt House East Moline/Quad Cities

Negatives: I didn't like the broken and loose toliet set or the fact there were hairs on the sheets that were not ours. We were disappointed that there was no shuttle to the show we were attending at the Rust Belt on Friday night, but one suddenly appeared for the Saturday night show. I even called before we got there to verify if there was a shuttle for Friday night and was told by staff one would be available. Thank you Lyft! It was a rainy night and we didn't want to walk or drive after a few cocktails. And finally, our original reservation was for three nights, but we could not stay the third night. I called to change the reservation 2 days ahead of time within the cancelation time. I was charged more for two nights than the original three! I realize prices fluctuate, but going from $159 a night to $215 is ridiculous. Unfortunately, there were no other options close to the venue. I use booking.com for most of our hotels and little consideration on price would have been appreciated.

Negatives: The breakfast was not very good wasn't fresh and not much options even thou I checked the reviews and the employees they all said great food and variety. But was the most frustrating I checked in went to the room and I put that I would have 3 adults and 3 children and I choose a room with the biggest options which was suppose to be 2 beds and a sofa bed and when I got in it was 1 bed and a sofa bed. The employees helped me with that but then I got a confirmation that my charge on my card was 216.86 and I was told on booking and had the confirmation after tax it was 173.16. I talked to the manager she it's suppose to be 178 and change I'm like whatever it's a few dollars verse 50 and she said let me try and figure it out and have me come back down and I came down the next morning and checked out and they said my receipt was 173.16 which was what I was told but still was charging on my card the 216. The manager wasn't there but told the employee that she didn't see it on my end I need to contact my bank, which I didn't understand why but ok so now I'm waiting 2 more days till bank is open!!

Negatives: The property is in a great location for the wedding venue it sits next to. But there is a little drive to Get to downtown moline or to go over the bridge to Davenport. I would make sure you plan accordingly so you can spend your day away from the property and not have to come back until your ready.
