Positives: Upon registering and meeting the clerk on hand, we started having a conflict. I was paying in cash and had the total available and ready to pay. When I said paying in cash I was instantly instructed that I would have to pay an additional 300.00 in cash for a deposit to cover any damages , to which I totally understood but wasn't prepared. I asked if I could pay that with my credit card and was told instantly NO ! That I had to pay it in cash since I was using cash to pay for the reservation. I got everything worked out but it did raise a concern with me. I think from now on when using Booking. com that the fee for damages should be either added to the total cost or at least should be mentioned with the room so patrons of Booking . com will know in advance that there will be additional charges.
