Negatives: Paying $17 overnite stay parking plus there to attend John Edwards night event Ugly roof view Didn't feel Westin was as luxurious as expected 10 pm snack meal rushed for closing & strange menu selection for Spam thru 10 pm Hunger after 4 pm check in.

Positives: Tameka was very nice, and made some things right, but we did not see her until Sunday afternoon. Perhaps if she had been on the desk the whole time, things would not have been as bad as they were.
Negatives: The linens had not been changed when we checked in, and they were changed only once in four days. Our waste basket was never emptied, even after it was full. Used cups were not replaced, and calls to the desk to get replacements were fruitless, despite assurances that they would be sent up to the room. Dirty bath towels were left on the bathroom floor, presumably to be re-used, and hand towels were not replaced. The air conditioner could not hold the set temperature, either going too high or too low by several degrees. Rowdy guests in the restaurant Saturday evening made it impossible to eat there, and impossible to even be in the lobby, yet no effort was made by the staff to quiet them down. This is the second Marriott property we patronized where poor room service was laid off to the property's going "green". Marriott seems to be downgrading the level of service and saving money with a phony condescension to environmental extremists. With the rates you are charging, guests should expect and receive first-class service, not shabby treatment because of environmental political correctness. We stayed at this property several times before Marriott took it over, and we liked it so much that we would stay at no other place near BWI. The level of decline since it was a Wyndham is almost impossible to believe. We will never stay there again, and we will tell our friends in Baltimore to warn their out-of- town visitors to stay elsewhere.

Positives: The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. I really loved the furniture in the room, having a chaise was much appreciated.
Negatives: I did not have a complete room service menu but that was the only negative thing in the room. The first morning I went down to the restaurant which seemed very busy and under staffed. It took a little time to get seated only because the two staff members were so busy not because there weren’t tables. Then there wasn’t service, no menu and no beverage service. Eventually it fell into place but it felt very disorganized. The next morning I ordered room service and thankfully they accommodated me because for some reason the room service stopped a half hour before the restaurant opened which didn’t align with the timing of my flight and my getting ready. It seems, especially for an airport hotel, room service should be available longer especially when the restaurant gets so over burdened and has long wait times. It was also very pricey for the offerings so for my other meal I ordered from outside of the hotel.
