Positives:
Coffee in lobby due to being in the lobby with key issues more than I was in the room.
Negatives:
After checking in: 2 trips to room with luggage! and key cards that didn't work.
2nd day, back through the lobby due to the key card not being able to open the side door. Then again, unable to open the room either. BACK to the lobby. The manager on duty asked me if it failed all outside doors. (What??) I told her it wasn't my job to check the hotel systems. By the 3rd and last day, I had no issues with the key-card situation. TOO MANY TRIPS BACK AND FORTH with the advice: see if this works. I don't consider myself spoiled, and staying at a Comfort Inn, I didn't expect the Ritz, but... see if this works? And another trip to the door. 'Your phone may de-magnetize the key', 'your car key fob may de-magnetize the key'. Okay. Can't keep by phone, can't keep by car key.
You know what has never failed? A real key.
I filtered the hotels by pet-friendly in case I brought my pup. On the website for THAT PARTICULAR Comfort Inn, claims to be pet friendly. Upon check-in, I am informed, 'no pets'. Had I brought my dog to Maryland, I would've had to scramble for lodging for the two of us. BE HONEST ON YOUR WEBSITE!
It's JULY!!
2nd floor had almost no air conditioning. On one of my MANY trips to the front desk, I found out why it was 90 degrees on the second floor. There were multiple stacks of A.C. units on the floor in a hallway.
Was advised that the pool was closed, but saw 2 teenagers using it, and the water looked fine. The patio area looked fine. No renovations started.
The shower needs liquid plummer or something to unclog the drain. I was ankle deep in shower water by the end of every shower. Gross. And, lol, the shower curtain was backward. So the waterproof side was by the toilet, and the pretty cloth side was in the shower/tub.
Drapes were 2 inches shy in length to cover the window. It was very bright as soon as the sun was up.

First floor was musty, mildew smell and not pleasant! I would never stay on the first first floor. The second floor of rooms were better.

The amount of mildew and mold on the first floor.
