Reservations line provided incorrect information on cost of parking. Upon arrival, valet staff informed that price was more than double quoted by the reservation line earlier that day. They kindly offered to leave our vehicle with them while we went to reception desk to speak with management. Hotel manager was incredibly unaccommodating and shockingly rude. He blatantly accused us of lying regarding the quoited price, at which point we called hotel reservations again and were told in the presence of hotel staff the price we were previously quoted. At this point the hotel manager, visibly annoyed and angry, bluntly said he didn't care what the reservation staff told us and invited us to leave if we didn't like it. He further refused to provide his name or give the name(s) of his superior(s) and falsely told us that he was the "big boss." His behaviors was so bizarre and unprofessional, it occurred to us that he might be in an intoxicated or drugged condition. We only obtained the manager's name by returning to the reception desk and asking another employee, who seemed mortified by the manager's behavior and clearly terrified of him. The name we were given was Alberto Melo. The name of his superior was given as Emilio Ferrero. Needless to say, we will never again under any circumstance book any Hilton property. Appalling incompetence, rudeness, aggression, and ignorance we encountered has no place in the hospitality business. Neither does Alberto.
