Location was good - close to wedding venue. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.
Negatives:
No elevator access to 2nd floor. Didn’t realize this or I would have asked for a 1st floor room. My room was too close to public smoking area, I could smell the cigarette smoke and hear the smokers talking.
The hairdryer in my room did not work. The fan on the A/C made a weird loud noise.

We didn't get to stay there, they couldn't find our reservation it wasn't there, & had nothing available! So we ended up at a different hotel & separated from family at the first hotel. second hotel we ended up at (cause everything's was booked where we had reservation we thought) it was really bad plugged drains & toilet, very dirty, too being very loud & very rude young management. Horrible experience never again we will go through 3rd party where they loose your reservation. Baymont Inn in Howell Mi was the worse hotel we have ever experienced & highly recommend no humans or animals stay there! The manager was young & just laughed at our situation then said she couldn't give a refund cause it was in the 3 rd party but will note it that we should, all while being a smart ass & laughing. Horrible experience she shouldn't be in customer service being a teenager & a manager at that her name is Madalyn Ehlert at Baymont Inn in Howell Mi. Was expensive for such a Horrible experience we should get a refund of something this was so wrong on many levels. Corporate office should know about her!
