Positives:
Great location, comfortable beds.
Negatives:
The property is desperately in need of a complete makeover. The rooms lack amenities one finds in much less expensive hotels such as in-room refrigerators and convenient power/USB outlets on both sides of the bed. The ergonomics of the bathrooms are hopelessly outdated. The front lobby of the hotel was at one time Princeton's living room. Now you can't even use that entry after 6:00 pm. Gone is the convenient bar, good continental restaurant and roaring fire (maybe the fire still gets lit in the winter, it was hardly the right day for it on our most recent visit). But much that once was has passed away. Value for money is just not there except for location. What the Nassau Inn really needs is a new owner.
