Location is a little bit rough. The bathroom was not as clean as my expectations were for a newly renovated Hotel.

Spent $25 for a late check-out to go soak, because pool hours are 10 - 10, but the hot tub was cold and not working! Have never had to pay a late check out fee, even at other La Quinta's

We didn't even end up staying here as the room was not ready when we arrived at 8:30pm. We were told we would have to wait 45 minutes. We have 3 young children who needed to get to bed. We were told rooms were being double-booked so we went elsewhere.

The room was nice and it was updated BUT it smelled like animal urine BADLY! The pull-out didn't have any bedding on it or any in the room for it and pretty sure our bedding on the 2 queens was never changed between guests as there was sand in my bed.

Everything except the ros was run down and a bit scary. Even the lighting in the parking lot was sketchy. The evening staff was extremely rude and breakfast was sad. Pretty much everything was gone by 7:30 when we went to eat.

First all the front desk lady does not care about her job, straight up rude. Talked on the phone the whole time. Paid no mind to me tossed my keys on the counter and walked away.

Rooms have recently been redone. However, it seemed ours had just been redone that day, as the door was left ajar and some things hadn't been plugged in. Room was very nice, though.
Negatives:
Front desk staff was incredibly rude when I first went in. Cold, rude and unhelpful. We arrived early and when I went in to get a beat on what the status was, the young woman was short with me telling me to come back after 3:00. Period. No flexibility.

The TV didnt work, the lobby was not clean, there was hair on the walls in the bathroom.

This place has VERY good coffee

Wi-Fi only works on lobby floor. Complaints caused. Wi-Fi in room to work for 13 minutes out of 72 hours. This failure seems intentional. Door keys only work for one day or less unless desk clerk goes thru multiple keys to find ones that will work. Owner needs to invest $ in routers, expanders., Zander buying NEW key cards that retain codes. One must request cleaning night before but no one tells you. Owner says policy is no cleaning until after 4days !
