The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. It was really nice to have a restaurant on the premises. The food was great, although a little pricey. The room itself reminded me of a tiny house; all the expected amenities but in a compact efficiency vibe. It was nice that they had the opportunity for room service.
Negatives:
The neighborhood was not great. It seems to be an odd place for such a new hotel. It was a little awkward to get down the front stairs to the lobby. The walls on the floor to my room were very dark, making it feel closed in. The app for room service was a little problematic because it didn't record my room number (this happened to another guest as well), so I had to go down to the restaurant to pick it up. The breakfast was a little disappointing because it was mostly pastries and yogurt.

the breakfast is really just some pastry, bad coffee and juice. as one of us is celiac we mainly ate what we brought. as it is included in the price it was okay, but i wouldn’t pay for it

The staff was nice and helpful, the surroundings are not very nice but the hotel is so close to subway you can get to Manhattan very fast, there is a gym (rare in 3-star hotels) and free drinkable water.
Negatives:
Poor selection of food for breakfast: only carbs (muffins, cereal or yoghurt with sugar added). This is a bit strange that a hotel that provides gym, doesn’t provide any healthy food options - at least some proteins. The hotel, especially the room was not clean. The floor in the room was dirty even after daily cleaning (see pictures), plates and cutlery at breakfast were also dirty. The shower curtain had an unpleasant smell. Room itself was really small, it was difficult to place even two pieces of luggage and move around. The other problem was the sheets which were too small for the bed. During the night they slipped off the bed - even though we asked for a change the problem continued.

This hotel was a total vibe from beginning to end. It surpassed our expectations. You really don't have to leave the hotel if you're looking for good food, drinks, and music. The roof top is amazing and the staff is exceptional. Lastly, we felt safe and secure, and did not encounter a single problem.
