Positives:
We liked the location of the hotel, central and also in a safe environment, we looked at other hotels and saw that most of the hotels in Manhattan had a large homeless population in the area. For us, security was important when walking late at night. Also, I had seen comments about bed bugs in New York, but here the beds and bathroom were clean and spotless. We had a great time on the terrace with a view on the top floor of the hotel and enjoyed the free coffee.

Great location, amazing shared rooftop, also there is self-laundry and gym available. The price is ok for a hotel in Mid-Manhattan.

Good option if you want...
Positives:
The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, the air conditioner was not too nosey (which is sometimes hard to find in NYC) and I found the room to be very clean. The location is also very good being right next to Grand Central.
I only stayed one night and didn't interact with the staff much but when I did they were very friendly.
Negatives:
I was shocked to find out that they don't have breakfast at all! Not even for a fee. Considering how much I paid for the room, I would have though they would offer that service, however there is a nice diner one block over that did the trick.

Convenient, clean and safe. All of the front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the terrace and lounge area. Very nice stay.
Negatives:
Definitely more trash cans in the lounge/terrace area. Upon check-in, I would have like to have been made aware that I needed request housekeeping service if I wanted the bed made.

Website stated 24 hour room service and restaurant, neither was available. No refrigerator in room. Coffee maker and phone in room did not work. Removable shower head was not secure so it made it difficult to shower without drenching the whole bathroom. Beds were comfortable but extremely small
