Positives:
The room exceeded expectations. It was large for a NY hotel room and very clean. Definitely better than the pictures. Cleaning service was provided everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is only a couple of blocks from the subway with lots of breakfast, pastry, and Korean restaurants nearby.
Negatives:
Although there is free coffee provided each day from the barista downstairs, I prefer it first thing in the morning and would have liked a coffee maker in the room. Also the elevator is very small.

Great location and a surprisingly spacious room for Manhattan. The down side was that I had effectively no view - looking over a well-like fire escape meant no daylight in the room
