Location- the View -
Negatives:
The overwhelming smell of a bad fragrance in the lobby used to cover up what I can only guess: the scary elevator, the locked lobby doors, and waiting for the bellman for 10 minutes to let us in.
The dirty carpets, sofa, and dated decor. Crayon on the carpet- worn holes in the arms of a sofa, just plain neglect.
The decor felt like a Cheesecake Factory from 2010. The food was terrible—a frozen croissant. This property is on its last legs and needs to be purchased and redone. I can say this is poorly managed, and it affects the environment. I should have known when the gentleman ahead of me asked to check out and for a refund as he had just seen his room and it was "dirty." It was 1 a.m., so I was unsure if there would be other options nearby. I would avoid this hotel. Lovely view and location. Why did Hilton leave this property?

Positives:
Location was really good, right next to the WTC memorial and the Oculus shopping centre.
Negatives:
The rooms were quite dated. Stained carpets, peeling wallpaper, inadequate electric sockets, no mini refrigerator. very poorly kept rooms, felt transported to the 1950s . Showers didn’t work well. All in all a desperate need to update and deep clean the the rooms. Other than location there’s really nothing else that’s great.

There was a musty smell to the room. The chair in the room had stains on it making it not desirable to sit on. In the bathroom there was hair in the shower.
