1 lady and 1 man from front desk were fairly nice and 30 dollar drink credit was nicely given.

A lot. Please try to avoid this hotel.
1. The hot water in this hotel coming out of tap was in messy white color instead of clear water. It tells me the heater or the heaters pipe has not been cleaned up for decades. Disgusting hard water. How do I know its the heaters problem? Simply because the cold water was clear and safe. The 1 front lady was even trying to convince me its the city waters problem, which was nonsense. Also she said she would have engineers to check on it, but never did. How did I know that? Because the second day my room had no hot water at all so I called the engineer to the room to check on this annoying separate issue. When I mentioned the hot waters issue, he didnt know about it at all. So clearly the front desk lady didnt do anything.
2. The location is too busy and therefore too noisy. The window was not sound-proof either. 3 nights there, could not sleep at all, terrible.
3. If you do not book the expensive room, the balcony you get from the room is like nothing. You can barely stand on the balcony, thats how thin it is.
4. I originally have another date booked with them next week because I have a flight from EWR, due to the above reasons I really do not want to stay in that hotel for another night. So I was trying to be nice and told them I would like to request for a cancellation fee waiver through booking.com (legal with non-refundable books) so my trip can be canceled without any charges due to my schedule change. But really its because I can not stand to sleep in the hotel again. The initial front desk guy was nice and confirmed through phone it could been done and I would not be charged. Then no reply. The second day I asked the front desk again, this time is a lady, she said she had to ask the manager and the answer was no.
I was trying to be nice so everyone is happy. But since the manager is that greedy, I decided to write this rating and be absolutely honest about this hotel so everyone can see.

Negatives:
Lighting in the room was poor. Difficult to see things. Large windows with no curtains left little privacy from offices opposite.
