Positives: My family recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Melville left us with a good feeling. The facilities are new, thoughtfully designed, and spacious, creating a warm and modern ambiance that feels both inviting and comfortable. I will say this hotel is an excellent choice for families, offering a perfect balance between practicality and style. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms, in particular, stood out for their generous size, making them ideal for travelers with large suitcases. The rooms were equipped with TV and storage, the view was nice and the curtains and blinds were excellent for black out. The bathroom was equally spacious and well equipped, with nice toiletries. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea in the morning and apple cider in the afternoon, a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor gathering area, which features a cozy fireplace—a perfect spot for relaxing after a day our and about. The gym, though not large, was immaculate, filled with natural light, and had all the essentials for a good workout.

Positives: We liked everything about it: the room, location, food, staff. The fat sausage was a pleasant surprise with breakfast compared to the usual skinny sausage. The room suggestion was good because it was quiet. We didn't hear our neighbors. The outdoor grounds were nicely maintained.

Positives: The staff stood out as consistently being among the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. I wondered if they were hired for this trait to begin with, or whether management was doing quality team building & training. Everyone from the check-in receptionist to the bartender. I love, love, loved the many fire pit sitting areas outdoors—I think there were 3? I loved that they had an indoor pool, even though we didn’t use it. I liked the idea of the nightly dinners and available buffet for breakfast-even though we didn’t eat there. I’m not a bar person, but the cute bar was full each night and friendly-with people watching the game-not rowdy. I also loved that you could read a book in their lobby/restaurant type area over a glass of wine and was told I was welcome to bring my glass outside to sip by the fire pit. I wish more hotels were like this! (See photo) So many lovely little touches-like the citrus infused water dispenser and great landscaping. I didn’t use the fitness center but was glad they had one and it wasn’t busy when I checked it out.
