The fact that they had the back door of the hotel locked. So we had to walk through rocks to get to the side door. We waiting 20 min. to check in because no one was at the front desk. The pool room was so hot and the chlorine was so high you could even swim.

A weird odor throughout. Spills in the middle of walk ways at night still there in the morning. The elevator at ground level had an electric/ rubbery burning smell. Elevator sounded pretty bad with no posted certificate of inspection.

The breakfast was good and the room was clean. The pullout couch sleeper worked very well for our son.

Other guests had dogs that could be heard barking in the middle of the night. This woke me up in the night. It was very easy to hear noises made by other guests.

Hotel is right off interstate which makes it an easy on/off when traveling to vising family/friends.
Negatives:
The intersection near Old Troy Pike and Merily Way, which is the road that takes you to the hotel, is horrendous and extremely dangerous. There's a delayed traffic light for turning left on Merily Way which takes you a short distance to the hotel, but that delay is very short for turning left. When the traffic starts moving from the opposite direction, especially during rush hour, visibility is next to impossible for turning left since other vehicles are trying to turn right. I didn't want to get into a car crash, so I passed by that intersection and make a U-turn in the shopping center across the street so I could turn onto Merily Way easier. That intersection has very high traffic (hotels, McDonalds, other shops, etc.) and needs to be drastically improved. If I want to leave the hotel several times during my stay, as opposed to just staying in for the night, I probably won't stay there again due to that dangerous intersection and the high probability of an accident.
