Positives: Location in independence was good, but the location of my room was awful

Negatives: It seemed they had a section of the hotel that was poorly maintained and that’s where my room was, there were bugs in my room and the wall a/c was filthy and moldy so I didn’t turn it on, I was at work and called in to request a room change when I was told I could change then when I arrived and tried to change my room the guy at the desk was rude and wouldn’t change my room or send someone to clean the room, which wasn’t cleaned the whole time I was there, I would’ve checked out but I used my card and the money wouldn’t have been put back on my card right away so I was stuck in a filthy room with gnats flying around, stink bugs, and some other big bug crawling around on the walls, I have pictures and videos.

Positives: It was in a nice area and staff were friendly!

Negatives: The extra top lock was broken off and there was a crack between the door and the wall you could see right through I put a towel over it at night, just kinda scary considering we are younger girls and there were some sketchy people there and the floor could’ve used a good sweep.
