Bad
Positives:
The desk clerk when we checked in was outstanding! He helped us (or tried to) with the TV and moved us into a different room because of unattended dogs nearby.
Negatives:
The TV was impossible to figure out! Unattended dogs were noisy and required a move to a different room. The breakfast looked so bad that we went out instead. The coffeemaker in the room didn't work.

Positives:
The only thing to like is that it was right next to the dispensary
Negatives:
I didn’t like that the property was disgusting. My rooms were horrendous. I had gotten a king room for my boyfriend and I and got the queen room for his son. We started out very optimistic with the pricing and the fact that there was a pool but that all very quickly changed. I went and checked in and even had a great conversation with Mr.G (the front desk employee who was very nice). He then told us we would be in rooms 101 and 105 which were right down the hall, perfect. We then brought all of our bags into the hotel room, along with anything of value because the place had homeless people panhandling and looking for places to sleep all over the parking lot. After getting everything inside and going to check it our rooms we noticed that trahis Red Lion was not like any other that we had stayed at in the past. All the others seem to have been redone within the near past. This one seemed to be very outdated. The first thing I noticed was that as I turned on the light switch for the room, the only light bulb in the ceiling was all the way in the far right corner of the room. I thought this was odd but oh well so I went to turn on all other 5 lights in my room and bathroom. Every light was a different brightness and a different color. It immediately hurt my eyes but it would have been too dark without them on. I went to open the blinds only to find that there was an alley right out side my window with more homeless people. I quickly decided to shut the curtains seeing that I didn’t want people just standing there watching me. Next when I looked in the bedside tables, I found that they were covered in grease and stains that I would never put any of my own belongings onto. When I went to go to the bathroom I opened the door to find that the door actually rubs up against the toilet and you have to stand in the small gap between the shower and the toilet to even shut the door. I am 100 pounds and 5’3” and still had trouble shutting the door while I was in the bathroom.

Good
Positives:
—Staff were phenomenal. Very friendly, wonderfully helpful, and always pleasant
—Pool open until 10 pm
—Filtered water fountain— so convenient and refreshing!
—Extended breakfast hours on weekends!
—Juice was a hit with my toddler for breakfast
Negatives:
—TV had to be reconnected to internet each time we turned it on (long, tedious process)
—No closet or dresser to store clothing
—Room wasn’t very clean upon arrival
—Had to be request for room to be cleaned— never ran into this in 30+ years of staying in hotels. Inconvenient given we stayed here for a week with our toddler
—Breakfast was just okay, no real protein other than yogurt
