Negatives:
Inaccurate description of restaurant - absolutely awful food! Most staff were brand new, not enough staff to take care of customers, absolutely awful room requests! No towels in room, requested four times, never got any and had to check out without a shower! TV/wifi did not work. Staff would never answer phone. A couple we met had the same experience as we ran into them checking out.

Less than happy hotel staff when checking in. She had difficulty finding my room or my reservation. Barn style doors in the restroom did not offer privacy.
The bed was a little too firm and the pillows not very good quality.
Booked breakfast included, the restaurant seemed understaffed, and the food was rather bland. Service was very unprofessional and slow.

Positives:
Location is everything, this is so centrally located, the Empire State building is right there, great access by subway, shopping on 5th Ave and going to museums. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and really engaging with our five year old son. Our son has been telling everyone he stayed in a hotel RIGHT next to the Empire State building. Our room was on the top floor, so it was quiet, great views, highly recommend this entire experience.
