The hotel smelled like cigarettes and undried dirty towels. The lady that checked us in was not only rude, but she wouldn't look at me and when she did, she tossed the room keys on the counter rolled her eyes and said "4th floor rm 405" Plus there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and door. We had to go downstairs and ask for towels.

Garbage was laying in our hallway for hours leaned up against a door marked housekeeping. Shady people hanging out in the parking lot and the lobby. There was no soap in our hotel room and our door didn’t fully shut.

This hotel is a “transitional” place for people. It seemed like there were many families who were living at this hotel long term. It is good the hotel is set up for this transition for people that are in need.
However it would have been nice to have been informed of this situation of the status of this hotel being used as a transitional place at the time of booking.
