Exceptional
Positives:
Good location.
Negatives:
Valet is too expensive. The free breakfast is not really free because they add gratuity. Which I think is very rude and forceful. I always tip. The only time I’ve ever seen gratuity added is when it’s a large party. But this is a new thing for me and I’m a world traveler I found it rude and I didn’t like it.
The breakfast potatoes look and smell good but when you go to eat them, they’re like a rocks. As I was dining there a few mornings and ordered the same thing for a free, but not really a free breakfast anyway I saw a lot of tables left the potatoes. These potatoes gave my son and I acid problems and indigestion all day long. I would strongly suggest to ask other people and notice if everyone’s throwing them away. If so, I think you should go to the local supermarket if necessary and just buy a hash browns haystack style and/or breakfast potatoes . This is an OK hotel but the room is very small. They don’t even have a coffee maker in the room. And I had to ask how many times for the coffee maker and extra condiments. It was annoying. The place is OK. But it’s expensive and it’s not really as that good as they try to make it. Thank you.

The location was perfect; the overnight parking, while expensive, was convenient. We stayed for 1 night, had the car parked, and walked everywhere.

Positives:
Very spacious, clean rooms and loved the overall design and decorations of the whole place. It's situated in a great location; we could basically walk everywhere we wanted to go in the city. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and/or book it again next time I'm in Philly.

Positives:
Location, IHG brand
Negatives:
TV should be a smart tv so guest can stream from their phone.
Hotel offers conserve housekeeping; hence more towel bars or hooks to hang wet towels would be a good idea

Superb
Positives:
One of the nicer rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was a huge one bedroom suite and had a close view of Independence Hall. This hotel is only 1/4 block from the building itself. It was very clean and well appointed. It had a large bathroom and a nice huge bathtub and large shower. It was also quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. It is also only a few blocks from the Revolutionary War Museum. The first floor attached bar and restaurant is a very popular spot. The bar had an excellent selection of spirits.
Negatives:
It has valet parking only and sometimes takes a little while to bring your car down. If you know when you need your car, text the valet for pickup about 15 minutes before.
