Positives: Not much except for the location.
Negatives: Where do I begin? We tried to check in and the hotel’s entire system including their internet was down so they couldn’t check anyone in. We had to leave and go get an early dinner and come back almost 2 hours later to be able to check in. The room we had was a disaster. The window looked over the Sheetz convenience store car wash that was loud and had bright spot lights on all night long. The “blackout” curtains wouldn’t close completely so we had those lights shining in the window all night long. The hotel sits on a very busy intersection and you could hear traffic noise and some very loud trucks travelling up and down that riad all night long. There was creased/cracked wallpaper and what looked and felt to be like a cracked concrete wall behind it in the bathroom. The chaise lounge in the room was stained and dirty and the air conditioning unit sounded like an F-18 jet was ready to take off from the room that’s how loud it was when it was running. We were told the hotel were busy the weekend we were because there was an “in house” wedding but that doesn’t mean other guests have to deal with excess noise and chaos which is also what we experienced. Loud guests at all hours of the night and early morning which woke up myself and my husband several times. When we were able to get comfortable on what felt to me to be a very bad, low quality mattress. Basically this hotel is a disaster. We didn’t chance the “free” breakfast because by the looks of the rooms, I wouldn’t want to chance the food. Sorry but for a Hilton Hotel property I wouldn’t even rate it a 2 1/2 star.
